23.19.416    PRE-DECISION SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTE

(1) One or both of the parties shall notify the department if, through outside mediation efforts, the dispute is settled at any time after the filing date and before the decision is rendered. The department shall thereupon verify the terms of the settlement and the date for performance to which the parties have agreed, if applicable. The consumer shall notify the department if compliance has not occurred by the agreed date, and the arbitration process shall recommence at the point within the 60-day time frame at which it had been interrupted by the notification to the department of the pre-decision settlement.
