37.106.1831 SPECIALTY MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY: EMERGENCY SERVICES (1) The facility must ensure that patients have access to emergency services and to more intensive levels of care, including acute or inpatient psychiatric care. (2) The facility must have an agreement with an outside source for emergency medical and inpatient psychiatric services to ensure that they are immediately available to patients who may need such services.
