37.111.1148    VENTILATION AND LIGHTING

(1) Bathhouses, dressing rooms, shower rooms, and toilet rooms shall be adequately ventilated. Ventilation of indoor swimming pools and spas shall be so designed that bathers will not be subjected to drafts and no buildup of condensation will occur.

(2) All indoor pools or spas and all outdoor pools or spas operated at night shall have artificial lighting sufficient to permit a 6 inch black disc on a white field to be visible in the deepest part of the pool or spa. Such lights shall be spaced to provide illumination so that all portions of the pool or spa, including the bottom, may be readily seen without glare.
