37.114.1006    TREATMENT STANDARDS

(1) It is the opinion of the department that medical treatment of tuberculosis, in order to meet currently acceptable medical standards, must be consistent with those standards contained in "Treatment of Tuberculosis and Tuberculosis Infection in Adults and Children", a statement adopted by the American Thoracic Society Board of Directors in March, 1986, and recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. A copy of the ATS tuberculosis treatment standards is available from the Department of Public Health and Human Services, Health Policy and Services Division, Communicable Disease Control and Prevention Bureau, 1400 Broadway, P.O.
