(1) The board recognizes the following national accreditation bodies for purposes of approving nursing education programs:

(a) Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE); and

(b) National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

(2) The board recognizes the following regional accreditation bodies:

(a) New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC);

(b) Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSCHE);

(c) North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS);

(d) Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities;

(e) Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS); and

(f) Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
