37.115.1839    WADING POOL ATTENDANT REQUIREMENTS

(1) Publicly owned wading pools must have at least one attendant present at all times during operation hours and the attendant must be in complete charge of the wading pool facility and have the authority to enforce all safety rules.

(2) Each attendant must be currently certified by either the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association in methods of infant, child, and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and must be certified by the American Red Cross (or equivalent) in at least standard first aid.

(3) Each attendant must be at least 15 years of age.

(4) The attendant must be on duty at all times when a wading pool is open for use by bathers.
