24.159.1403    PURPOSE OF STANDARDS OF PRACTICE FOR THE ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE

(1) The purpose of the standards is to:

(a) establish minimal acceptable levels of safe and effective practice for the APRN; and

(b) serve as a reference for the board to evaluate safe and effective advanced practice nursing care.
