The hide of each beef or veal inspected in accordance with the provisions section 81-9-112 MCA, must be marked by the inspector authorized to make inspection required by removing the ears and attaching the lead tag bearing the number of the county, which shall be the same number used by the registrar of motor vehicles to designate each county, and a serial number. The tag shall be attached to the lower extremity of the left hind leg of each hide inspected.
