(1) An eighth-grade student at
the proficient level in health enhancement demonstrates solid academic
performance. He/she:
(a) attains an appropriate level of skill related
fitness;
(b) identifies influences of media and culture on
health; and
(c) analyzes concepts of health promotion,
including determining the validity of information and products, evaluating the
influence of external factors on health, and examining the causes of interpersonal
conflicts and how goal setting and decision making influence health.
