10.57.101    REVIEW OF POLICY

(1) By authority of Article X of the Montana Constitution the board of public education exercises general supervision over the public school system and such other public educational institutions as may be assigned by law. By authority of 20-4-102 , MCA the board of public education adopts policies for the issuance of teacher licenses.

(2)The board regularly shall consider recommendations for revision of the policies at any time it deems necessary. Notwithstanding any changes made in any five-year period, every five years the board shall have made a comprehensive review of licensure policies to insure that such policies are meeting the needs of the state.
