(1) All used mint equipment imported from another state
shall be disinfected using the following procedure:
(a) All equipment shall be power washed with an
EPA registered disinfecting solution.
(b) The committee may require that the power
wash procedure be conducted a second time within 24 hours of the equipments
arrival in Montana, and be inspected by the committee.
(2) A
phytosanitary certificate shall be issued on all equipment imported into the
state declaring that the equipment has been disinfected as in (1) above.
(3) Mint
equipment imported without following the above procedures will be disinfected
at the owner's expense and shall be subject to a penalty as specified in 80-11-419,
MCA.
