23.3.190 SOURCE DOCUMENT RETENTION (1) The department shall retain copies of the application, declaration, and documents submitted to prove legal name, date of birth, social security number, authorized presence, and Montana residency. (2) The department must scan and retain the digital images for the retention period required under state law, but not less than ten years.
