36.11.422 WATERSHED MANAGEMENT (1) The department shall manage watersheds to maintain high quality water that meets or exceeds state water quality standards and protects designated beneficial water uses. (2) The department shall incorporate BMP's into the project design and implementation of all forest management activities. (a) BMP's appropriate for a given project or situation shall be determined during project development and environmental analysis.
