37.30.1614    EXTENDED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES: SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

(1) Supported employment may be provided to a client who needs assistance in entering into competitive work in integrated work settings.

(2) Supported employment as an extended employment service may be provided only in an employment setting where:

(a) the person with disabilities is not part of a work group of other persons with disabilities and most coworkers are not disabled;

(b) the person with disabilities is part of a work group of no more than eight persons with disabilities and there is regular contact with persons who are not disabled and who are not providing support services to the persons with disabilities; or

(c) the person with disabilities works alone and is in regular contact with persons who are not disabled and who are not providing support services to the person with disabilities.
