42.13.221    ADOPTION OF CERTAIN FEDERAL REGULATIONS

(1) The United States department of treasury, bureau of alcohol, tobacco, and firearms regulations 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7, as set forth in 27 CFR, as revised April 1, 2003, available from the U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402-0001, are adopted by reference. These regulations apply to basic permit requirements, tied-house restrictions, labeling, sampling, and advertising of liquor (distilled spirits, wine, and malt beverages) sold within this state except where the provisions of these federal regulations may be contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions OF MONTANA law or rules of the department.
