14.8.103    NOTIFICATION OF THE EXISTENCE OF AN ENERGY SUPPLY ALERT OR ENERGY EMERGENCY

Upon determining that an energy supply alert or energy emergency situation exists, the governor shall declare the same to be in existence by executive order. The governor shall notify state agency heads and local government entities of the declaration and of its requirements by memorandum. The governor or his designee shall notify refiners and distributors affected by the declaration by letter. Also, the governor or his designee shall issue a press release describing the action taken.
