(1) All payments for the purchase of service credits must be completed by the 15th of the month in which the member retires.

(2) If payment is over 30 days past due, the member and their employer will be notified in writing that contributions are due and payable and that benefits will be recalculated and adjusted retroactive to the date of retirement if payment is not received within 60 days of the effective date of retirement.
