(1) Any person, firm, company, or other entity wishing to engage in the business of conveyance work that is regulated by the department must be a licensed elevator contractor.

(2) Any person wishing to perform conveyance work that is regulated by the department must be a licensed elevator mechanic or limited mechanic employed by a licensed elevator contractor.

(3) Any person wishing to perform elevator inspections services in Montana must be licensed as an inspector by the department to perform elevator inspections and testing.
