24.159.1203    PURPOSE OF STANDARDS OF NURSING PRACTICE FOR THE REGISTERED NURSE

(1) The purpose of the standards is to:

(a) establish minimal acceptable levels of safe and effective practice for the registered nurse; and

(b) serve as a guide for the board to evaluate safe and effective nursing care.
