10.54.3612    BENCHMARK FOR SPEAKING AND LISTENING CONTENT STANDARD 1 FOR END OF GRADE 8

(1) The benchmark for speaking and listening content standard 1 for a student at the end of grade 8 is the ability to:

(a) observe and describe the importance of speaking and listening in personal relationships; and

(b) identify and define the components of the communication process.
