37.79.101    CHILDREN'S HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN (CHIP)

(1) The rules in this subchapter implement the children's health insurance program, which is provided through the children's health insurance plan (CHIP) . CHIP is jointly funded by the federal and state government. The purpose of CHIP is to provide health care benefits to uninsured individuals under the age of 19 years from low income families who are not eligible for the Montana medicaid program.
