(1) After January 1, 1973, a junkyard cannot be established on a new location unless it is in an industrial area, or is properly fenced and/or screened.

(2) Fencing and/or screening is not required at this time in an industrial area. However, if local zoning regulations or legal covenants require screening and/or fencing these requirements will be met before a license is issued or reissued.

(3) A Junkyard License will be issued to new junkyards which meet the requirements of these regulations.
