(1) The equipment room shall be so located that it cannot be entered directly from the shower rooms. If entry is gained from the deck area of the pool, spa, or other water feature, the equipment room must be kept secure at all times.

(2) The equipment room shall have a floor drain.

(3) The floor shall have a minimum slope of one-quarter inch per foot toward the drains with no low spots which would allow the water to stand.

(4) The recirculation equipment shall be located for convenient inspection and servicing. Adequate headroom shall be provided above pressure filters to allow easy observation and reading of gauges.
