(1) A person interested in obtaining a license as a retailer shall file an application for a license on an application form provided by the director.

(2) The application must provide sufficient information for the director to determine the eligibility for a license as set forth in 23-7-301 , MCA, and these rules and for the director for security to perform sufficient background checks to ensure that applicants and licensees conform to the law and rules.
