24.156.1405    APPROVAL OF SCHOOLS

(1) Acupuncture schools or colleges which offer a minimum course of 1000 hours in recognized branches of acupuncture and are approved by the National Accreditation Commission for Schools and Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine or have any equivalent curricula as determined by the board, will be approved by the board.

(2) The board will review any questionable curricula on an individual basis, using acceptable curricula existing at the time of the individual's study as a guide for evaluation.
