10.54.3452    BENCHMARK FOR WRITING CONTENT STANDARD 5 FOR END OF GRADE 8

(1) The benchmark for writing content standard 5 for a student at the end of grade 8 is the ability to:

(a) identify and analyze characteristics of different forms (e.g., narrative, journal, technical) ; and

(b) write using characteristics of different forms.
