32.6.704    SANITARY FACILITIES AND ACCOMMODATIONS: SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

(1) Adequate sanitary facilities and accommodations must be furnished by every licensed establishment or facility. The following are specifically required:

(a) Dressing rooms, toilet rooms, and urinals, must be sufficient in number, ample in size, and conveniently located. The rooms must be provided with windows to admit direct, natural light and must have adequate facilities for artificial light. They must be properly ventilated, and meet all requirements as to sanitary construction and equipment. They must be separate from the rooms and compartments in which products are prepared, stored, or handled.

(b) Modern lavatory accommodations, including hot and cold water, soap, towels, etc., must be placed in or near toilet and urinal rooms, and also at such places in the establishment as may be essential to assure cleanliness of all persons handling products.

(c) Toilet soil lines must be separate from house drainage lines to a point outside the buildings. Drainage from toilet bowls, holding tanks, and urinals may not be discharged into grease catch basins.

(d) Properly located facilities must be provided for cleaning and disinfecting utensils and hands of all persons handling any product.
