37.114.315    POTENTIAL OUTBREAKS

(1) Whenever a disease listed in ARM 37.114.204(1) is confirmed or whenever any other communicable disease listed in the "Control of Communicable Diseases Manual, An Official Report of the American Public Health Association", (18th edition, 2004) , or other communicable disease which constitutes a threat to the health of the public becomes so prevalent as to endanger an area outside of the jurisdiction where it first occurred, the local health officer of the jurisdictional area in which the disease occurs must notify the department and cooperate with the department's epidemiologist or the epidemiologist's representative to control the spread of the disease in question.
