37.114.519    CRYPTOSPORIDIOSIS

(1) The local health officer must prohibit an infected person from engaging in a sensitive occupation until symptoms of illness resolve and, if determined necessary by the local health officer, evidence that a stool specimen is clear of the organisms causing cryptosporidiosis is provided.

(2) Sources of infection must be sought, especially in the home, within the family, in food, and in water.
