NOTICE OF AMENDMENT

 

TO: All Concerned Persons

 

           1. On March 11, 2022, the Department of Commerce published MAR Notice No. 8-94-196 pertaining to the public hearing on the proposed amendment of the above-stated rules at page 314 of the 2022 Montana Administrative Register, Issue Number 5.

 

2. The department has amended the above-stated rules as proposed.

 

3. The department has thoroughly considered the comments and testimony received. A summary of the comments received and the department's responses are as follows:

 

COMMENT NO. 1:  The department received numerous comments requesting an extension of the Montana Coal Endowment Program (MCEP) application deadline of May 5, 2022. 

 

RESPONSE NO. 1:  Due to the timing of the ARPA Infrastructure Advisory Commission meeting of April 20, 2022, where the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation will present the successful applicants of round two of the competitive applications, the Department of Commerce agrees to extend the application deadline for MCEP to May 18, 2022.
